About Footy Pajamas
Footy Pajamas was founded 5 years ago when I went looking for footies for my then 14-month-old daughter. As a baby, she would kick her blankets off at night and her feet would get cold in pajamas without feet. We tried socks, but she liked to pull them off. Footies seemed like the only solution.
But, she’s always been tall for her age, so we needed PJs that were on the large size. I looked at all of the usual outlets, with little success. Most stores don’t carry footies for babies as tall as my daughter and those that we did find were either too warm, or poorly constructed. Then I went on a serious hunt for good, soft, cotton footies for older babies and toddlers and Footy Pajamas was born.
For Footy Pajamas I’ve chosen footies that my daughter wore when she was a younger baby and added other products that I think both you and your little one will love. Whether you’re looking for pajamas with feet for your active toddler or a daytime romper for your newborn, we have what you’re looking for. And, the organic cotton toys are sure to be a hit. My daughter loved her mouse from Under the Nile and carried it with her everywhere.
Since our founding in 2005, we’ve added long johns, two-piece pajamas and other products for older children. I’ve learned that children who are potty training may not have time to unzip, so two-piece pajamas are sometimes a necessity. And, we’ve also learned that big kids and adults love cozy pajamas too. We have a full range of styles and colors for our “big kids” and this past holiday season we added our first fleece pajamas, for both kids and adults, which have been popular from day one.
